The cardioversion gets closer; I am away on a course tomorrow, have the blood tests on the Wednesday and the procedure on a Thursday. I am getting a little nervous. I don’t think it is the procedure itself, it’s what happens after. Given I have had permanent AF for nearly 8 months, it seems likely that the cardioversion will not restore NSR, or if it does only for a few seconds. What then? a long waiting list for ablation, extra medication, still unable to cycle properly?
